My regular order is the Wiki Wiki Saimin (which comes with BBQ chicken, spam, a fried egg, noodles, and a broth that is unlike any other noodle broth you've tried--it has a very savory, understated charred flavor and is not too salty) and a side of something--usually Mac salad.
I give this place 5 stars because it is 1. comforting, 2. nourishing, 3. yummy, 4. consistent, and 5. living up to its namesake: wiki wiki, or, hella fast.
Speaking of hella fast, I'm bout to take a wiki wiki walk on over right now to get me some more Saimin goodness. Toodles!
Stopped by here while visiting my family that lives around the area. Pretty good food and pricing. Restaurant is clean and has enough tables. The meats were nicely marinated but the star attraction was the mac salad.
Give them 3.5 for ordering delicious food from them online but never look up on the instruction that I need utensils and napkins.Sometimes I receive it not but again I'm using my hands to eat it like a Filipino style.
Wikiwiki is definitely my go-to comfort food when I just can't be bothered to cook dinner. The grilled garlic fish plate is my favorite, and one order will usually last me 2 meals. The meal comes with macaroni salad, two scoops of rice, and shredded cabbage, all of which will leave you full and happy.
The plates are great for the price, especially if you order through Snackpass with a friend during happy hour on Wednesdays. The deal is so good that my friends and I are starting to make a habit of Wikiwiki Wednesdays!
This place hits the spot every time. I've tried their chicken mix plate, spam musubi, and their saimin soup. Everything was so good and the owners here are super cute and sweet. The chicken katsu and macaroni salad are definitely my favorite. The portions are more than generous for what you pay. In fact, I'd say any of the mix plates is enough food to split between two people. Some of my favorites are the chicken katsu and macaroni salad.
I'd recommend skipping the garlic prawn plate - the time I had it, the shrimps were tiny and they don't give that many. And it wasn't as seasoned as I would have hoped.
Excellent food, especially since there is a lack of Hawaiian BBQ in the area! That being said, the interior was kinda crusty, not a problem if you're getting take out though.
Omg this place is good to my Heart I used to go here when I lived in California 2 - 3 times a week. Now I live in Florida. I miss this Place Constantly. The BBQ MIX or Number 1 is the one to get. OH YEAH! AND THE CHICKEN KATSU!!
